I have just finished reading Randy Gages’ book entitled Why You’re Dumb, Sick & Broke… and thought it was great. He explains 3 mains ways to achieve leverage. These include the following:
- Real Estate Investment - leverage your money by building a portfolio of assets.
- Information Entrepreneur - leverage the power of the Internet by creating a portfolio of information-based products that solve a problem.
- Network Marketing - leverage your time and money by creating residual income from products that you use and recommend.
Out of all of these the last one (network marketing) would be the starting point for creating wealth. I would conclude that these methods of creating wealth represent the last great ways to cash in on the free enterprise market.
Capitalism and Personality Type June 2, 2008

The Myers-Briggs Indicator or Instrument represents the #1 system for classifying individuals into one of sixteen personality types. It is also linked to varying “unfair advantages” over others and challenges that an individual will face. For example, introverted types may already have lost out to extroverted types who seem to end up with all the best jobs simply for having different hard-wiring.
In my humble opinion the world does not represent true capitalism because if it did then everyone would have their ideal jobs and careers in place. I can just imagine a new industry of recruitment by personality type. I see a website listing jobs by a new search parameter — brain type.
Personality type affects everything from relationships to career choices. Without a true capitalist state and government most people end up doing work that does not suit them.
The Age-Old Catch-22 June 2, 2008

It’s quite the norm these days to have graduated from either an old or new university. Many, including myself graduate with little or no relevant industry experience.
The age-old catch-22 of not being able to get a job requiring experience when no job takes an individual on to get that experience.
Even the most basic of I.T. roles requires experience. I don’t understand why even “first line support” requires experience of Active Directory when surely to the right candidate this can all be learnt within 10 days or less.
My only hope is that future job adverts can provide more leeway and less rigidity in what they want from a potential candidate.
Time to Make Money Online April 27, 2008

Its about time I started making more money online and my first point of call is the clickbank marketplace. If I don’t take a few risks then I can’t get on the road to success.
After browsing the marketplace I’ve seen everything from a system that claims to make a person money with their amateur photography to “hardcore” investing on the Forex (foreign exchange) market using an autopilot system to taking paid surveys.
The question now arises: What product or system shall I invest and take a risk with?
Well I’m going to figure that out, take a reasonable risk and post my findings here in the coming weeks and months.
For now I like the following quote:
Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. ~Winston Churchill
I have previously tried a website on the niche subject of Socionics using SiteSell. The website ended up as a flop and has now expired.
In the spirit of Churchill its now time to go from that “failure” to another opportunity. If I don’t have the experience of “failure” then I’m no closer to personal success. And if I don’t try then I’ll never know.
The Future Is Now! April 8, 2008

According to many spiritual guides and gurus the problems we have come from worries and bad thoughts about the past or future. By living in the moment, in the now, we can only release our spiritual awakening and lose all anxieties.
Some wise guy once said that the future is a mystery, the past is history and the gifts are in the present. I couldn’t agree more so I have taken it upon myself to focus on the immediate NOW. I mean all I can be certain of is the last 5 minutes say and speculate what might be coming up in the next 5. In reality I live in the now, what else is there?
Well we can worry endlessly about the past or we can worry about future-projections and deadlines. I find myself most at peace in the now.
